Introducing Appify
Today we are very excited to announce that we are changing our name to Appify. While we all loved the name Turbo Systems because it represented the speed and agility that we could bring to customers; overtime, it became clear that it had some issues. Like, for example, it’s the name of a Dreamworks picture called Turbo about a snail that is super fast. Or, that there are a lot of car engine companies that also use the name Turbo because a Turbocharger is often just referred to as a Turbo. And, my favorite story is of vacationers calling us because they were interested in the Turbo pass.
We could have continued on with Turbo Systems and dealt with some of the quirks because as long as we continue to deliver a great experience for our customers, we will be doing what matters. But sometimes the perfect name comes along and hits you square in the nose. That’s how Turbo Systems becomes Appify.
Our goal has always been to amplify your business with powerful apps and now we have a name that shares that vision more clearly. Apps + Amplify = Appify. We have been so excited to share this with everyone and are thrilled that the day is finally here.
